Intensive Care

The most difficult medical situations are those that necessitate a patient being admitted to the intensive care.  The ICU focus of patient and family support, understanding, education, and caring serves as a guide through the often difficult and stressful journey of intensive care.

Intensive care rooms are equipped with highly specialized bedside monitoring, computers, and special medical equipment necessary for a patient’s specific care needs. The ICU provides individualized care for one or two patients based on monitoring and care necessary. The goal of critical care is to help patients recover and return to a previous or improved state of health.
