Custer, S.D. (June 13, 2018) – An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the new Regional Health Custer Hospital and Clinic on Tuesday, June 19, from 4 to 6 p.m. The new healing environment is located at 1220 Montgomery St.
Light refreshments will be served in the main lobby. Also, visitors will be able to take self-guided tours through the inpatient, emergency and clinic areas. The new hospital has eight patient rooms, 18 exam rooms, a hospice suite and more. Outdoors, there’s a healing garden and walking path for patients and visitors. Weather permitting, the ribbon cutting ceremony will take place in the healing garden.
The 44,000-square-foot Custer Hospital and Clinic opened its doors April 30. Regional Health and the City of Custer partnered to construct an entirely new $22 million hospital to meet the current and future needs of the Southern Hills.
