A message from our Chief Nursing Officer
Welcome! I’m delighted you’re considering a nursing career at Regional Health. We strive to create teams of professional, passionate nurses who display the “art and science” of nursing. We believe these teams are capable of transforming care.
Regional Health nurses have opportunities to work in critical access hospitals, community hospitals, a behavioral health hospital, long term care environments, clinics, and hospital outpatient services. Through our shared governance structure, more than 1,000 nurse caregivers at Regional Health are responsible for driving much of the innovation that occurs within health care in western South Dakota and the surrounding areas. We also offer amazing opportunities for professional development and advancement, as well as tuition reimbursement and scholarships.
Our vision at Regional Health is to do the right thing. Every time. Our nursing division has demonstrated its commitment to quality and professional practice by achieving Magnet designation in Rapid City. We are confident that our hospitals in Spearfish, Lead-Deadwood, Custer and Sturgis will soon gain Pathways designation.
The Black Hills of South Dakota is a vibrant, beautiful place to live. Please reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about being a Regional Health nurse.
All the best to you,
Regional Health Chief Nursing Officer
Vice President of Nursing, Rapid City Hospital
