Custer: Regional Health Custer Hospital and Clinic Expansion
Through a collaborative partnership with the City of Custer and the Custer Community Health Services, Regional Health Custer Hospital and Clinic began a rebuild of the hospital and clinic to allow room for future growth, recruit new physicians, nurses, clinicians, and to enhance Regional Health’s ability to provide coordinated, high-quality care. Patients will benefit from the most innovative and advanced medical technologies in a safe and healing environment specifically designed for patient care.
Rapid City: Regional Health Rapid City Hospital Expansion
The most significant renovation and expansion project in Regional Health's history will begin with new construction, renovation of existing facilities, and infrastructure improvements in Rapid City. The projects include new construction and renovation of Regional Health Rapid City Hospital and the development of a new state-of-the-art Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute to be constructed at the Buffalo Crossing development in Rapid City. The initiatives are a part of Regional Health's system-wide master space planning process and its commitment to transform the future of health care in the region.
Rapid City: Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital
The Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital at Buffalo Crossing expansion project includes the construction of a new medical facility specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine and rehabilitation. The Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Hospital will be built on 10 acres at the Buffalo Crossing development, located at the southeast corner of Catron Boulevard and Highway 16, in Rapid City and will house physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other specialists dedicated to providing expert care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues and sports-related injuries. Additionally, it will feature a performance and athletic enhancement center, with services ranging from improving one's ability to enjoy everyday activities, to training elite athletes seeking to enhance their performance.
Sturgis: Regional Health Sturgis Hospital and Clinic Expansion
Another chapter in the history of Regional Health Sturgis Hospital and Clinic began on October 26, 2016, with an official groundbreaking for a new $10.2 million clinic to be constructed on the hospital’s campus. The project will add over 20,000 square-feet to the existing hospital and replace some 8,000 square-feet of existing specialty clinic space. It also will provide a new front entrance to the hospital and the Emergency Department, and increase parking spaces. Construction is expected to begin this spring and be completed in early 2018.
