RAPID CITY, S.D. (May 4, 2018) – Regional Health and Mitchell Technical Institute (MTI) have combined their Radiologic Technology education programs into a single program that allows students to complete clinical studies on both sides of the state and earn an associate’s degree from MTI in as little as 21 months.

Demand for Radiological Technicians is increasing. MTI has a 98 to 99 percent job placement rate within six months of graduation. The cost of the MTI program is less than $23,000 for tuition, fees, books and uniforms.

“MTI is thrilled to be partnering with Regional Health in the area of Radiologic Technology education.  Providing quality employees to health care organizations is a primary goal of the program,” said Mark Wilson, MTI President. “A partnership in western South Dakota will bring the benefits of MTI’s long history and well-respected program to a new group of students. With the Regional Health imprimatur, we know that this partnership will be a successful one for many years to come.”

“Regional Health is proud to partner with a forward-thinking school like MTI. Our students will be well-trained and ready to start their careers in less than 2 years,” said Jamie Madden, Senior Director of Medical Imaging at Regional Health.
