RAPID CITY, S.D. (April 7, 2017) – Regional Health Heart and Vascular Institute is the new name for what used to be called Regional Heart Doctors.
“The new name – Regional Health Heart and Vascular Institute – encompasses the wide-range of services provided by our physicians and caregivers,” said Regional Health Senior Director of Cardiac Services Jeff Mengenhausen. “We believe the name change demonstrates our commitment to helping patients and communities live well by providing a comprehensive, high-quality heart and vascular program.”
The Institute combines clinical quality, research, and state-of-the-art technology, which improves patient outcomes and enables us to provide a continuum of care for patients and families throughout the Black Hills.
The Regional Health Heart and Vascular Institute incorporates four essential components to its program that include: The Heart and Vascular Clinic, Heart Lung, and Vascular Surgery, Black Hills Cardiovascular Research, and the new Spearfish Queen City Cardiac Services Clinic.
